University of Zululand: Clinical Skills Instructor x2 (Posts)
Introduction
The main purpose of this position is to contribute to the delivery of high-quality clinical teaching and learning, and to assist with clinical teaching and learning in the Department of Nursing Science. The candidate will assist with administrative duties as well as community engagement. The incumbent will report to the Clinical Skills Laboratory Manager and the Department of Nursing Science Head of Department.
Desired Experience & Qualification
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in the field of Nursing and Midwifery
- 3+ years’ experience in teaching at a Higher education facility and/or clinical instructor experience in a Nursing Education Institution
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nurse Educator
- Must be computer literate in the use of Microsoft Office programs.
- Must be a Professional Nurse with current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
- Potential to undertake administrative responsibilities at a departmental level
- Code 08 driver’s license
- Prepared to use own transport
