The Fix: Graphic Designer

Position Description:

Did someone say on-fleek, 20-something ladies value-fashion brand?  Are you committed to pouring your creativity into building the hottest fashion brand to slay the sleeping giants with a grrrr?  The FIX is where it’s at – we’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join our tribe, and share our vibe.

Your slay-eat-sleep, dream-job responsibilities include:

  • Designing – building & developing our feisty, young brand through research, design, layout & typography to deliver brand value & brand love is all in a day’s work (obvs)
  • Conceptualising – visualise & execute – from windows & instore, through digital & social, to PR & Events – & whichever cool channel we decide to explore next
  • Briefing – receiving, giving & interpreting briefs to/from internal/external customers, to ensure fresh, creative delivery in line with our strategy
  • Delivering – ensuring projects & deadlines are delivered on time & in budget – direct your own traffic & production while drying your nails & reading our blog
  • Capitalising on tactical ideas and events – be able to run in heels/sneakers while dreaming up cool, never-before-tried ideas that are memorable and executable
  • Optimising – manage your creative budget efficiently and effectively to get the best bang for your buck, with added sparkle, Bae
  • Agility – no two days are the same & you’ll need to deliver creative solutions for our busy TTL Marketing Calendar

You know how to:

  • Put your degree or diploma (Design and/or Fashion-related) to good use commercially
  • Apply your 4-5 years relevant design & finished artwork experience working with brands/in a creative environment
  • Slay Adobe CS6 suite with solid command of Indesign & Photoshop
  • Spot the diffs between digital & litho, perspex & polytwill, regrams & GSMs, gifs & gaffers – i.e. understand printing, repro and photography processes
  • Deploy your beady, creative eye in order to style, dress or shoot a fashionable outfit memorably
  • Make your voice heard & contribute your innovative, cool ideas through discussion &/or presentations
  • Plan your time effectively & efficiently, & thrive under pressure
  • Maintain high standards – & raise the bar every time
  • Be a team player – #squadgoals
  • Laugh in the face of change – it never lets up
  • Operate in stealth mode – stay abreast of competitor activity, market trends, best practice
