The purpose of this role is to reach out to potential customers via telephone, e-mail or social media to generate interest and to make appointments for the sales team.
Job Functions Sales
Industries Insurance
Engage all prospective leads telephonically
Manage and diarise appointments on behalf of the sales team
Manage data in the CRM system
Generate reports, weekly and monthly
Keep accurate records
Provide general administrative support to the sales team, organize documents, make copies, scan, file etc.
Handle inbound calls and deal with queries
Min experience, skills and education:
2 yrs B2B sales/business development experience utilizing multiple platforms
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding set targets
Strong administrative skills with experience using Excel, Outlook
Previous CRM system experience
Articulate, professional and a strong command of the English language both verbal and written
Matric is a minimum requirement for this role
Previous long term/life/medical insurance industry experience preferred
Self-motivated self starter
