Sales Representative

A well-known Food manufacturing Company based in Cape Town, is looking to appoint a Sales Representative.  Responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company’s solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction. The goal is to contribute to sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Diploma in sales or at least a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience within the food distribution industry.
  • Own reliable transport and valid license
  • Matric / Grade 12

 

Duties:

  • Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of clients
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
