Introduction
The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls (The Academy) is a residential boarding school with just over 300 students enrolled in Grades 8 -12. Grade 12 students write the Independent Examination Board (IEB) National Senior Certificate (NSC) Examination.

Specification
●Relevant degree and a professional teaching qualification.
●Proof of registration with SACE.
●At least 3-5 years of effective teaching in a similar position.
●Extensive understanding of high school English Home Language curriculum
●Ability to identify students’ gaps and deficits.
●A passion for enquiry based, student-centred learning.
●A working knowledge of the latest educational trends.
●Experience in teaching Advanced Programme English would be an advantage
●Experience in DOE or IEB teaching, marking and/or moderation will serve as an added advantage
●Willingness to learn how to use and implement the Neurosequential Model of Education (NME) in your teaching.
