Goscor Group of Companies: Forklift Sales Coordinator

Introduction

The successful candidate will provide the necessary support to the sales team. This person will be the point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, by keeping schedules and providing feedback, documentation and information.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Achieving the Region’s revenue and profitability quotas for the companies’ products as they are sold into all customer segments within
  • Coordinate sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents and communicating relevant information.
  • Weekly and monthly reports – Market sensing, competitor reports, sales calendar, sales monthly activity reports.
  • Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material
  • Attend to customers queries and give after-sales support when requested.
  • Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Communicate with clients of unforeseen delays or problems.
  • Monitor the team’s progress, identify shortcomings and propose improvements.
  • Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events.
  • Ensure adherence to laws and policies

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in sales environment.
  • Experience as a coordinator in a sales team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record in customer relations.
  • Administration and Coordination skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilise it to present the features and benefits to customers.
  • Knowledge of the Materials handling & cleaning industry, a plus.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of all Microsoft Office Programmes
