Requirements

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification plus post matric qualification in Library and Information Science.
  • A working knowledge of library administrative procedures.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to interface with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Computer literacy in Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. High degree of accuracy.
  • Knowledge and / or experience of records management.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Coltech knowledge and experience would be an added advantage
  • A valid driver’s license would be an added advantage
