Required minimum education/Training:
•Grade 12 and Diploma in the Relevant IT field Like Microsoft Certification
•Basic software development training (Visual Studio, .Net, C#) would be advantageous.
Required minimum work experience:
•1-year relevant experience
•Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer
•Proven administrative skills
•Easy to work with, organized, self-motivated and time-conscious.
•Able to work unsupervised environment.
•Strong active listening skills.
•Critical and analytical.
•Able to communicate effectively with other team members.
•Result oriented and committed to his work.
•Have a thorough understanding of computer systems.
•Understand what is involved in the administration and maintenance of network connectivity.
•Innovative and creative.
Key responsibilities of this role:
•Support and maintenance
Support users with standard Office applications
Support users with inhouse developed applications
Support users with basic SysPro utilisation
•Troubleshooting and repairs to local and networked computer software, hardware and peripherals
Resolved user errors
Resolved network errors
Resolved application errors
•Building IT Infrastructure Maintenance
Well maintained infrastructure
Identification of defective equipment
