Purpose of the job:
To lead the Human Resources team in providing a totally integrated Human Resources services to the Business Unit.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Provide strategic direction in terms of Organizational Development, develop and implement OD initiatives.
•Lead wage negotiations with the recognized stakeholders.
•Create and maintain a positive ER climate in the operations.
•Provide guidance and advice to all within the Business Unit.
•Manage the EE process to ensure compliance to EE Strategy and plan.
•Ensure achievement of Mining Charter and Organizational Transformation goals.
•Develop Communication Strategy and implement appropriate methods, channels and tools.
Safety & Health
•Implement HR related safety initiatives
Recruitment, Selection and Assessments
•Develop and ensure compliance to effective recruitment and selection systems and processes.
Rewards, HR Info Systems
•Ensure that Rewards practices are aligned to the Rewards strategy
Training and Development
•Ensure the empowerment of employees through the HRD initiatives.
•Create a competent workforce and requisite skills pipeline.
•Identify and manage implementation of suitable Community Projects.
•Create and maintain a harmonious relationship with the external stakeholders.
