Introduction
AVBOB, Africa’s largest Mutual Assurance Society providing a one-stop Funeral Insurance and Burial solution, has a vacancy for a Department Head Client Services at their Cape Town branch and will report duly to the Provincial Manager: Western Cape and Administrative Head: Policy Services Administration. The incumbent will be responsible for resolving walk-in clients’ queries by managing the AVBOB Client Service Centre and liaising with the relevant role players towards achievement of set objectives and targets within the department.

Specification
Responsible for resolving walk-in customers queries on a first point of contact resolution basis, by managing the AVBOB Client Services Centre (department) and liaising with the relevant role players towards achieving of a set of objectives (including customer service metrics) and targets in this department. The Department Head and team are able to assist walk-in clients with enquiries on existing policies, policy payments, new policies and arranging funerals.
Requirements

•Category B FAIS Accredited
•RE 5
•140 Lon Client Service Centre Consultant must be category B FAIS accredited
•5 years experience in the Life Insurance Industry, preferably in a Client Service / Policy Maintenance environment.
•Computer literate and must be able to work under pressure
•Good communication skills (English and two African languages)
•Should be client friendly and service orientated
•Listening and problem solving skills
•AVBOB Production system will be an advantage
