Specification
The Project Manager III (PM) is responsible for the managing/coordination of the Projects related to his/her allocated specialist research area. The Project Manager II (PM) is also responsible to make sure that the Project is delivered on time, within scope and within budget and that the Project’s objectives are met

Technical Work Responsibilities

Duties
•Liaise with all Stakeholders when necessary towards the achievement of Organizational and Departmental Goals
•Conduct meetings with Staff
•Be based on a full-time basis at the offices of the Tshiamiso Trust providing support to the management team
•Coordinating communication within a Project, and liaising between Head office, Tshiamiso Trust and community at large
•Attend project meetings for updates on the progress of the project
•Address concerns regarding individual outreaches with the OHS Manager and Diagnostic Manager, as well as other relevant Role Players
•Project coordination and management through monitoring outreaches and other sites
•Ensure documenting, reporting, supervision and supporting of Staff assigned to the Study Project
•Develop Developed Study Tools
Ensure that Project Roles and Responsibilities are clearly defined and developed
Ensure that the appropriate Budget is developed and agreed by all relevant Parties
Ensure Project Capacity is aligned with Project Deliverables, and that the Project is appropriately resourced with competent Internal and/or External Resources
Ensure all activities within an outreach adheres to quality control and ethical principles
Designing Tracking Databases, collating and analysing Tracking Data
Produced Reports/Graphs showing Key Performance Indicators within BME Outreaches, such as:
Project preparation
Recruitment and retention
Quality Reports financial tracking
Regulatory compliance
Report progress to Stakeholders (Funders, Collaborators, Clients) on a regular basis
Ensure corrective action with regards to problems and challenges within a Project
Review Project Resources and Aurum capacity and identify gaps
Establishing Partnership and networking
Maintain Contracts and communication with Subcontracting Companies
Ensure Regulatory Files for the Projects are maintained
Ensure all Outreach Activities are conducted in accordance with the Outreach Protocol and Standard Procedures
Ensure error corrections are attended to
Ensure adherence to Data collection and recordkeeping standards
Ensure maintenance of Facility Equipment
Complete weekly Status Reports
Responsible for overseeing the quality control of all Files regarding the Project
Ensure files and documents for Audits/Monitoring, in coordination with the QA Manager are available
Boardroom/Training Room bookings for meetings and trainings
Participate in proactive Team efforts to achieve Departmental and Company Goals
Adheres to all management SOP’s, Guidelines and Confidential Agreements
Mentoring and coaching of Sub Ordinates
Supervision of Sub Ordinates by providing guidance and in-service training to identify and address all challenges
Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
Identify improvements and future opportunities jointly with the Project Team
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures according to prescribed procedures and legislation
Report all unsafe activities to Senior Management/Human Resources
Adhere and maintain decision making authority as allocated to the position

Requirements
Education
•Four-year Bachelor’s Degree from College or University in Public Health, Social Science, Nursing, Medicine, or related field
•Certificate in Project Management or equivalent

Advantageous
•Registration at SANC
•Certificate in Management
Experience
•5 years’ experience in project management and stakeholder management
•Experience in analysing Data and summarising vast amounts of Data into Graphs
•Experience in working with digital systems as project will be paperless

Requirements
•Proficient personal computer skills
•SA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa
•Drivers license
•Own car
•Minimal/Moderate/Excessive overnight travel (up to 30%) by land or air if required
•Willing to work overtime
