African Cork Suppliers: Key Account Manager – Beverage Industry

We are a packaging company providing the beverage industry a one stop shop for all required packaging, all our products are imported. We are well established and have been around for 37 years, we pride ourselves in service delivery, the company is based in Paarl.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties include however not limited to:

Servicing an existing client base

Learning and understanding the technical requirement of our products

Maintain & Build Customer Relationships

Analysing the client needs, gather information from the client’s base ensure targeted selling

Research key customer wants and needs, observing trends, analyse past sales

Keep abreast with industry and market trends

Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with clients to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements:

Matric and valid driver’s license

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must have proven previous sales or customer relationships experience

Work well under pressure and commit to deadlines.

Have excellent people skills and intuitive to customer’s business needs.

Be well-groomed and presentable.

Systems: SAP B1 – advantageous

Intermediate Excel – advantageous

Package & Remuneration

The structure delivers a cost to company of between R35 000 to R40 000 per month, this includes a company vehicle, cell phone, laptop, internet dongle, fuel allowance as well as a monetary incentive package based on sales targets.
