Duties & Responsibilities:
1.Assist with the preparation of board, board committee and Trust minutes
•Attend all meetings of the board, board committees and Trusts
•Assist with the preparation of all minutes of the board and board committees and the timely distribution of minutes to attendees
•Assist on an ongoing basis on following-up with matters discussed at and arising from board and board committee meetings
2.Provide ongoing assistance to the Senior Executive Manager regarding the company secretarial related functions
•Assist with the administration of the annual board calendar and the arrangement of all board and board committee meetings
•Attend to the submission of returns to the CIPC
•Assist with the regular updating of the company corporate governance registers
•Attend to the arrangement of board, board committees and Trusts meetings as and when the need arises
•Assist in the preparation of board, board committee and Trusts meeting packs and the timely dispatch to the attendees of meetings
Formal Qualification:
•Grade 12
•Company Secretarial / Secretarial Diploma
•Paralegal diploma (advantage)
•3 – 5 years as an assistant to a Company Secretary in a large corporate
Company Secretarial principles
Computer Literacy: MS Office Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint (Advanced)
Minute Taking: High level of drafting skills
